America’s baby boomers are struggling as the recession carries on, threatening their livelihoods and retirement nest eggs. Baby boomers are spending less and saving less as they are hit with high unemployment and low interest rates, the Wall Street Journal reports. The Obama tax hikes will only squeeze Boomers more.

President Obama signed a measure today modestly beefing up border security spending, though he continues to support “comprehensive” reform (read: amnesty). Meanwhile, the AP reports that some illegal immigrants are taking advantage of lax state laws to secure driver’s licenses.
