Once upon a time, Fox News political analyst Kirsten Powers had a reputation as a relatively sane, responsible Democrat. Partisan and misleading, yes, but that comes with the territory; at least Powers was less strident and angry than the average leftist—certainly no character assassin.
This image has never been entirely true, but yesterday, Powers demonstrated once and for all that, deep down, she’s as duplicitous as they come. Writing on the Daily Beast, Powers purports to condemn the Republican Party’s “Long, Hot, Racist Summer”:

In a recent survey by respected pollster Pew Research Center, the largest religious demographic shift in political party identification came from Jews. About 12% of Jews surveyed said their party affiliation was no longer the Left-leaning Democratic Party and about 13% more now identified as Right-leaning Republicans. About 3 times more Jews recently went to the Right than most other religious denominations. According to Pew:

Just when you thought that Democrats could not find another way to pit themselves even more against mainstream Americans, along comes House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Just days after President Obama spoke out in favor of Cordoba House at the White House Ramadan dinner, Pelosi called for an investigation of where the opponents of the proposed mega mosque complex, slated to soar to exalted heights two blocks from Ground Zero, were obtaining their funds.
